Among the articles from my classmates, my eyes get caught by three of them, 'Educational institutions may not charge fees by holidays months','Students face down tear gas and water cannons in Chile protests' and ''Invisible' in India : The story of the disabled boy tied to Mumbai bus stop' First article is about reduction of fee needed for educational institutions. I chose this because I'm very interested in education as you can see from my blog. And, the second one which is about student being attacked by tear gas and water cannon because of the protests, was chosen because there was a similar story in Korea history. Last article considers India's poor caring system of the disabled and this article boosted my eager to help difficult-living people.
I tried to find article related with education because these days I was exhausted by Korean education system and I found the first article from jeonhyukjoon.blogspot.com. This article says fee that has to be payed to school will be reduced in Equador. And blogger think it is very wonderful policy because it increases educational level. Actually I also agree with this, but I also think it will not have an effect in Korea because there is a 'Private Education'. In Korea parents are trying to spend their many not on school but on private education. So, even the policy from the article starts in our nation, as long as private education exists, the policy will go inside in a short time.
Second article is from wormywarmy.blogspot.com. It shows Chilean students protest put forth to the national congress by President Michelle Bachelet, however police in Santiago attacked them with tear gas and water cannons. Personally I was mad when I read this article because first, I'm student who wants to say lots of things to the nations but if I was attacked by police it is sure to be mad. Blogger say the government must hear the voice of students and stop suppressing them and I can't agree more. In Korea, there was similar situation. Student in university came out to the road and made a huge movement but the armed polices hindered them with weapons. I surly think this is a embarrassing history and never have to be replayed.
Last article that seized my interest was from Kim-HaYoung.blogspot.com. It shows the story of one disabled boy was tied at the bus stop because of the reason he is the disabled. It is very embarrassing story of India and blogger also think that and say India government should enhance the facility of caring system. I'm absolutely in her opinion but I want to add one thing. It is important to increase the facility but it is more important for us to have eyes on disabled. There are many ways which we can do to help them. For me, I pay once a month to a African girl and usually go to other place including other countries for volunteering. And easily you can do 'Volunteer pay pot' in the street. I think as long as people are not interested in helping poor people, the tremendous facility is no use.
I have selected these three articles first, I want to say my thoughts about our own educational system. Second shame history of Korea and Chile which happened because the nation don't listen to student's words, must not be replayed. Lastly I wanted to say the importance of our willing to help others and wanted to show the way of it. I hope these issues to be solved in a good way.
